(Anderson, 1994)

Two species, eastern U.S.

A suite of superficially similar species occurs in Eurasia, but these are currently treated in a different genus, Parasenecio W.W. Sm. & Small. The other species of Hasteola, H. robertiorum L.C. Anderson, was first described in 1994 and is endemic to a small portion of Gulf-coastal northern Florida.
