Perennial branched shrub with alternate leaves. Inflorescence racemose or flowers axillary solitary. Calyx 5-partite. Corolla funnel-form; throat wide, hairy; lobes 5, spreading. Stamens 5. Ovary deeply 4-lobed. Nutlets 4, with a basal scar.
