Locality: Jeg har ikke truftet den uden paa Vestkysten af Costa Rica ikke langt fra Puntarenas, hvor den voxer sammen med Elaeis melanococca i den store Skov, som straekker sig mellem Palmar og Esparsa. [I have only found it on the west coast of Costa Rica, not far from Puntarenas, where it grows together with Elaeis melanococca in the large forest that extends between Palmar and Esparsa]
