Hall & Harbour 450 was cited explicitly in the formal discussion of this species as new, because the treatment here was of a new set of specimens, but Polemonium confertum was also said here to correspond to the collection Parry 274 from a previous set of specimens so these probably can be considered syntype collections; this name does not appear to have been lectotypified or this issue clarified. !CMT & CMR 2023
