Annotation: Bremek. intended to provide a nom. et stat. nov. for Pavetta indica var. montana Thwaites ex Hook.f. based on Thwaites 2456, but Ridsdale [Blumea 41(2): 461, 1996] noted that a different specimen, Thwaites 2512, is the only one that was annotated by Hooker with this name and thus Ridsdale considered this second specimen the type of Hooker's name. Ridsdale also considered these two specimens to represent different species, and published Pavetta badullensis Ridsdale as a nom. et stat. nov. for Hooker's variety. !CMT 2012
