Annotation: From IPNI: "Although Luer seems to have published the genus "Apoda-prorepentia" as a feminine singular noun, W. Greuter (B; pers. comm.) argues that the basionym "Pleurothallis subgen. Apoda-prorepentia" is a neuter plural adjective and so treats "Apoda-prorepentia" as not validly published." Nevertheless, Luer treated the name as a noun and as such is validly published. and even though ICN recommends avoiding adjectives used a nouns, it is merely bad practice, not prohibited practice.
