Comment/Acknowledgements:

Note: Chen (l.c.) cited a specimen of this species, collected from Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir by Walter Koelz 2848 (LE), hence included here. A digital image of type of S.depsangensis, which is in poor state, was seen by the present authors and were of the opinion that further investigation was needed to determine its true status because it looked very similar to S. gnaphalodes in habit, leaf shape and hairiness.
