Flower/Fruit: Fl. Per.: June-August.
Type: Type: Himalaya occident: in Prov. Kashmir: in labro sicco lacus Cashmirensis intra circuitu oppidi Srinagger 10 Aug. bis 30 Sept. 1856 Schlagintweit Herb. India and High Asia as 2 Gen. No. 4290 (B) Iso (K!).
Distribution: Distribution: Endemic to Kashmir.
Comment/Acknowledgements: A rare or under-collected species. We have not come across any other specimen belonging to this taxon with the exception of type collected by Schlagintweit from Kashmir, though Munshi & Javeid, l.c. recorded many specimens from Srinagar and its vicinity; seems to be localized in Srinagar only.
Map Location: B-8 Kashmir, Srinagar Lake, 5200 ft, Schlagintweit 4290 (K).
