Plants 30-150 cm. Leaves up to 12 mm broad, rarely broader, glabrous, margin scabrid, scape glabrous. Raceme dense. Bracts glabrous. Pedicel 10-20 mm long, spreading outside.Tepals 8-13 mm long, bright yellow, orange-brownish when dry. Filaments much longer than tepals. Capsule 6-8 mm in diameter, globose. Seeds 5-6 mm long, narrowly winged.
