Type-Protologue

Note: Teucrium descaisnei has been assigned in herbarium curation the type collection Schimper 264, but no specimens were cited in its protologue so name seems to be typified only by the type of the varietal name that was cited as the source of its description. The Schimper 264 collection was cited later by Bossier as a collection of Teucrium sinaicum, which was a later replacement name given again to Teucrium polium var. pilosum so the connection between Bossier's citation and typficiation of Teucrium descaisnei is not clear.
