Perennial with a well-developed tap root. Stems numerous from the base. thin, 0.5-1 mm in diameter, pubescent to strigose. Leaves numerous, sessile, lanceolate, 0.5-1.5 cm long, strigose, apex acute, margin repand to dentate. Flowers numerous at the tips of branches, c. 1 cm long. Pedicels hirsute. Calyx tube 3-4 mm long. narrowed at the base, hirsute, calyx teeth linear, hirsute. Corolla white, campanulate, c. 5 mm long. Stigma 3-fid. Capsule narrowed at the base, dehiscence at the base.
