Type-Protologue

Locality: Mexico, Baja California, Guadalupe Island, in the crevices of basaltic cliffs and also spreading over rocky declivities at lower elevations

Distribution: Mexico (Baja California)

Note: Brummit (1965) studied this group, and annotated Palmer 80 as the type of this name but did not select a lectotype, and this does not appear to have been done subsequently.
