Notes:
This name does not seem to have been studied by any recent authors. It was based on a plant cited as "Specimen in the nursery of Mr. Glendinning, of Turnham Green, obtained from som of Botteri's un-named seeds received by the Horticultural Society". It was described as a scandent plant with glabrescent, ovate, petiolate leaves, tripartite panicles that are axillary and terminal and shorter than the leaves, a short 5-lobed calyx limb, and fragrant, yellowish white corollas about 8 mm long (1/4 inch) and crisped obtuse lobes. Within the Rondeletia complex, the description generally could agree with a species of Rondeletia or Rogiera. Botteri collected in Mexico.
