Dwarf perennial herb, (6-) 10-20 cm tall, glabrous or sparsely hairy with simple hairs, branched from the base with branches hardly exceeding the radical leaves in length. Radical leaves spathulate or obovate-oblong, densely rosulate, (5-) 10-18 cm long, (1.5-) 2-5 cm broad; cauline leaves much smaller, sessile, oblong-ovate or elliptic, few, distant, 10-40 mm long, 5-15 mm broad, semiamplexicaul; all leaves subfleshy, dentate to entire. Racemes c. 10-flowered, up to 5 cm long in fruit. Flowers c. 5 mm across, white or pinkish; pedicels (4-) 6-10 (-12) mm long in fruit, spreading, glabrous. Sepals 3-4 mm long. Petals 5-7 mm long, 1.5-2 mm broad, apex truncate or subemarginate. Stamens c. 3: 4.5 mm long; anthers c. 1 mm long. Siliquae 15-22 mm long, c. 2 mm broad, oblong - terete, often slightly curved upwards; stigma short, subsessile; seeds 2-seriate, many, c. 1 mm long.
