Erect, annual herb, 5-15 cm tall. Cauline leaves 4-7 x 4-6 mm, ovate-broadly ovate, 3-4 lobed, with truncate base; terminal lobe obtuse-acute, lateral lobes acute, as long as broad, all antrorse. Floral leaves 4.5-7 x 4-6 mm, ovate-broadly ovate, 4-5 lobed, with truncate base; terminal lobe acuminate, lateral lobes acuminate-slightly aristulate, lobes as long as broad, upper antrorse, lower patent. Flowering begin at node 2-3. Raceme lax. Flowers 5.5-10.5 mm long; pedicels very short or even absent. Calyx 3.5-5 mm long; lobes 2-2.5 x 0.5-1 mm, equal; tube 1.5-3 mm long. Corolla white, throat yellow, dorsally 5-8 mm long; tube 2-6 mm externally finely pubescent especially on the upper lip. Upper lip 2-4 mm long; lower lip 3-5 mm long; lobes, oblong, obcordate, erose-slightly notched, middle lobe largest 2-3.5 x 1-3 mm, left lobe 1.5-2.5 x 1.5-3 mm, right lobe 3-2 x 1-2.5 mm, left and right lobes unequal. Two anthers with equal and two with unequal awns, densely hairy; hairs short, equalling the longer awn. Capsule 4-5.5 x 1.5-2 mm, oblong-obovate, emarginate, shorter than the calyces, finely ciliate at the upper part; cilia soft. Seeds 8-9 per capsule, 0.95-1.75 x 0.25-0.65, oblong, obtuse.
