Notes:
The habitat of this species is not entirely clear from label data; the collection localities suggest this may be characteristic of cloud forests in regions of generally seasonal vegetation, such as the coastal cloud forests of western Ecuador, or in inter-Andean valleys. More than one species may be included here, but the material available is too limited at present to conclusively evaluate the disjunct populations.
