B-9 Kashmir: Ladak, Bragnag, in wet meadow, flowers yellow, outside washed purplish, outermost ligule paler, 13000', 31.8.1931, W. Koelz 2788 (KUH).
It resembles very much T. leucanthum (Ledeb) Ledeb but differs in having pinkish to yellowish petiole, outer involucral phyllaries narrower, acute and ecallose, peripheral ligules with grey stripes outside and most important that stigmas are yellow.
