Annotation: See discussion by Wahlert et al., 2016: Grewia hispidissima was not published as noted on specimens by Capuron, nor by Capuron & Mabberley. Capuron annotated some specimens as a "Grewia hispidissima var. pavifolia" and "Grewia hispidissima var. septentrionalis", but those names have not been published, and Wahlert et al. excluded those specimens from their new species.
