Notes: Eumachia astrellantha is similar to Eumachia boliviana, and their separation may deserve further study; Eumachia boliviana is more widely distributed and commonly collected.
Distribution: Wet lowland forest in the Guianas and Amazonian Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, and northern Brazil.
