Notes:
This species is characterized by medium-sized leaves, laminar bilobed stipules, lax paniculiform inflorescences with the flowers borne singly or in groups of 2-3, white corollas that are abruptly flared in the middle, and small blue fruits. The inflorescence axes are generally spreading at ca. 90°, and the inflorescence bracts are ligulate to narrowly elliptic and generally all similar in size. Palicourea luteovirescens is similar to Palicourea huantensis and Palicourea tocachensis.
