Notes: This species is characterized by its rather small narrow leaves with acute tips, solitary flowers borne at the ends of leafy branches, and medium-sized flowers. It is known from only one specimen, but distnctive and its type region is poorly explored botanically. Schradera francoae is similar to Schradera subandina from Ecuador to Bolivia.
Distribution: Wet forest at 1150-1185 m in southwestern Colombia (Nariño).
