Qaiser 81 (KUH); ca 20 km from Panjgur on Panjgur-Turbat Road, c. 30 cm tall, perennial, 6.10.1986, A. Ghafoor & S. Omer 1891 (KUH); between Turbat and Buleda (Bit.), erect, 50-60 cm tall, florets bluish, 5.4.1988, Tahir ali 951 (KUH).

Thorny subshrub, (10−) 30(−40) cm high, many−stemmed. Branches virgate, intricately divaricate, forming an arc-like or semiglobose structure, sparsely hairy, white tomentose or grayish. Leaves herbaceous, almost deeply green−greyish, lanceolate, sessile, acute or somewhat obtuse or apiculate; middle rib thin, margin narrow somewhat thickend –revolute (rolled back from edge: towards the lower side); lower leaves upto 30 mm long, ca 8 mm wide, upper gradually decreased, uppermost often diminished. Capitula always solitary, terminal. Involucre 5−6 seriate, 20−26 mm long, cylindrical, narrowly rounded at the base, appressed− minutely tomentose, glandular−punctate, grayish−green; outer ones small, ovate, acuminate, green, coriaceous; inner phyllaries linear−lanceolate, membranaceous, brownish, long spinous. Corolla rosy, up to 30 mm long. Cypselas glabrous, brown, linear, ca 4 mm long. Outer pappus 12 mm long, white plumose, inner pappus 20-22 mm long.
