Herbaceous, erect, c. 30-60 cm tall, glabrous. Leaf imparipinnately compound, c. 7-15 cm long, leaflets c. 17-21, c. 2.5-4.0 cm long, oblong to oblong-lanceolate, obtuse, glabrous above, appressly pubescent below; stipules c. 1.2-2.0 cm long, foliaceous connate. Inflorescence an axillary peduncled raceme, peduncle long. Bracts c. 6-7 mm long. Pedicel c. 2-3.5 mm long, subglabrous. Calyx c. 6-7 mm long, glabrous, teeth minute, pubescent. Corolla bright yellow. Vexillum c. 12-14 mm long, glabrous. Wing and keel subequal. Fruit c. 1.2-2.0 cm long, curved, glabrous, bilocular, c. 8-9-seeded, stipitate.
