Annual, stem erect, ascending or prostrate, 55 cm or less tall, appressed pubescent. Leaf imparipinnately compound, 3-12 cm long, petiole very short, petiole and rachis appressed hairy; leaflets 11-21, 3-15 mm long, oblong to oblong-obovate, retuse, glabrous above, pubescent below; stipules 4-9 mm long, connate and adnate to petiole, ciliate on the margins. Inflorescence a pedunculate dense raceme, peduncle c. 12 cm or less. Bracts 3-4 mm long. Calyx c. 4 mm long, pubescent, hairs black and white, teeth c. 3 mm long. Corolla white or pale yellow. Vexillum 8-10 mm long. Wing c. 5-6 mm long. Keel 4.5-5.0 mm long. Fruit sessile,-2-4 cm long, 2.5-3 mm broad, linear, falcate to subfalcate, glabrescent or minutely appressed-pubescent, bilocular, many-seeded.
