Annotation: As "Lamberti". Cited perhaps simultaneously in Addenda in Sweet, Hort. Brit. 492, 1827, with a reference to its treatment in Sweet's Geraniaceae, but in this other place without without a diagnosis and with the only descriptive information "herbaceous, perennial", which is identical to the information for many other plants cited in this list.

Locality: From Nepaul [sic; Nepal], described from a cultivated plant that was grown from seed in Sweet's garden, that seed provided by D. Don, who got it from a specimen in Lambert's herbarium, that speciment sent to him by N. Wallich
