Locality: Type collection made from greenhouse-grown plant cultivated at MSBG, accession no. W-2368, 8 August 1979. Origin of cultivated material: Brazil. Nursery outside São Paulo, obtained by J. Hurlburt of Miami in 1976 and thought to be native to vicinity of São Paulo.
