Nomenclature Reason: Ventenat's names and Labillardière's nom. nud. mentionned in Relation du Voyage a la Recherche de la Perouse 1800 (1: 141) are independant even if Ventenat's 1804 (subtab. 81) made a reference that his new species is possibly the same as Labillardière. Labillardière only validates his Apuim prostratum in Novae Hollandiae Plantarum Specimen in 1805 (1: 76, tab. 103).
