Note: Five duplicates corresponding to this species in M, labelled without collector or number and as Herb. Monacense, and these seem to be syntypes; these duplicates have been confused in curation with Herb. Martius 485, the type of Aspidosperma martii [e.g., M0183528 and M0183530 correspond to A. pyrifolium, while NY00297987 corresponds to A. martii]
