Bowes Lyon 966 (BM); Near Ziarat, stony ground near water, 7500 ft, fairly tall, straggling shrub, flowers solitary axillary, white, 26.6.1957, Jafri & Akbar 2252 (K); D-5 Baluchistan, Singarh, 13.6.1897, Harsukh 20657 (K).

Herb, erect to ascending, up to 1.5 m, glabrous, branches spreading. Leaf spur 0-4 mm long. Cladodes (1) 2-5 (-8) per fascicle, 10-50 x 0.3-0.7 mm, linear, subulated, glabrous, green, subterete, acute. Flowers 1-2 per fascicle. Pedicels 10-22 mm long, articulate above the middle. Male flower: perianth 6-7 mm, yellowish green, anthers 1.2-1.5 mm. Berry red, 5-8 mm in diameter.
