Plants small, hair-l ike, in dense groups with prevalence of juvenile specimens. Bulb 4-5 mm in diameter, elongated obliquely-dro p-shaped, covered by papery tunics (from greyish to dark grey). Roots thin, short sclerified. Vegetative bulbil single, obliquely-dro p-shaped, rather large, downwards hanging, with the top attachment, greyish, not clearly fine-meshed, develops in juvenile, immature and in the first years of generative stages, then is absent. In addition in immature plants at the end of the tru ncate peduncle, at the surface of soil, elongated bulbils are formed in the axil of the single floral leaf . Peduncle 5-10 cm long, less than 1 mm in diameter, in T.S. pressed roundish. Basal leaf single, hair-l ike, about 0.5 mm in diameter, bending, shorter than the inflorescence, in T.S. triangular-roundish. Leaves on peduncle alternate, quickly decreasing, 2(3) located below the first branch, lower leaf shorter than the inflorescence, narrowly lanceolate-linear, about 2 mm broad, gradually ending in a long cylindrical tip. Inflorescence paniculate, 2-3(4)-flowered, on thin, bending pedicels. Tepals of 6-10 mm long, about 2 mm broad, obovate, narrowed to the base, obtuse, white inside, slightly greenish outside, internal tepals a little longer and wider. Anthers yellow, dehiscence roundish, 0.5 mm in diameter. Capsule obovate, shorter than the perianth, stipitate.
