Strychnos chlorantha Progel in Mart., Fl. Bras. 6(1): 273. 1868.

Bejucos de hasta 30 m de largo, zarcillos presentes. Hojas elíptico-obovadas a lanceoladas, 5–17.5 cm de largo y 2.5–6 cm de ancho, ápice acuminado, base obtusa a aguda, generalmente 3-plinervias, nervadura mayormente prominente; pecíolo 3–4 mm de largo. Inflorescencia cimas terminales; lobos del cáliz ampliamente ovados, ca 1 mm de largo; tubo de la corola ca 15 mm de largo, glabro, lobos ca 4 mm de largo, barbados en la base por dentro. Fruto ca 4.3 mm de diámetro, cáscara ca 9 mm de grueso.

No ha sido aún colectada pero se espera encontrar en Nicaragua; Guatemala a Panamá.
