based on a spelling of "Maianthemum" that was often used in the 1800's; the name is not based on the word 'maior' (=major), but on 'maius' (May) and 'anthemum' (month). Therefore the 'i' is not a semivowel and not to be changed to 'j', see Art. 60.6 (Shezhen Code).
