Uniola sessiliflora Poir.

Chasmanthium sessiliflorum (Poir.) H.O. Yates

Leaf blades mostly 6–12 mm wide. Leaf sheaths glabrous to densely hairy, with a noticeable line of hairs across the back at the tip. Inflorescences with the branches ascending, mostly not appressed. 2n=24. July.

Known only from a single historical collection from St. Louis County (southeastern U.S. west to Oklahoma and Texas). Habitat unknown, but presumably bottomland forest along a stream or river.
