Note: Specimens of grasses dervived from the "Centennial exhibit of Oregon, at Philadelphia" (1876 first World Fair), "presented in bundles or sheaves", of which G. Vasey "secured a quantity for specimens".

• IT: ex herb Vasey / ex herb. C. Mohr (presented to Smithonian in 1901); [no date on ticket but if original material then prior to 1877]; USA: Flora Oregonensis US-723425 and US fragm. ex herb. Vasey, "Festuca oregona", agree with Vasey's original description
