Twining perennial herb. Leaves 1-3.5 x 0.5-2.5 cm, broadly oblong or ovate elliptic, obtuse, mucronate, base rounded or cordate. Petiole 4-7 mm long. Peduncle up to 2 mm long. Pedicel 1.2-13 cm long. Calyx lobes c. 1.5 mm long. Corolla almost divided to the base, lobes 3.5-6 mm long. Corona lobes 2-2.5 mm long. Follicles 3.7-6.8 cm long. Seeds 6 x 3 mm, ovate, tip truncate slightly crenulate at the base. Coma 1.2-2 cm long.
