Flower/Fruit: Fl. Per.: March-June.
Type: Type: Koenig in Herb. Linn. 310/6 (LINN).
Distribution: Distribution: Pakistan (Hazara, Rawalpindi, Attock), Kashmir (R.R. Stewart, Ann. Cat. Vasc. Pl. W.Pak. & Kashm. 568.1972); throughout India, Nepal, Cylon and Malesia.
Comment/Acknowledgements: The genus Dregea, if accepted in a broader sense, includes Wattakaka and most of the authors have placed this species in Dregea, except Cooke (l.c.) who has included Dregea in Marsdenia. However, I have followed Huber (l.c.) and Stevens (l.c.) in accepting Wattakaka as a genus, separate from Dregea and Marsdenia.
