IT:
A. Wislizenus - 162 - MO - (BC:MO-2383277/A:5451442), (BC:MO-2383278/A:47603).

[The GH holotype does not have '162,' which is on the MO sheet, and does, indeed, seem to be a collection number rather than a species number, which Pl. Fendl. does not use. Cosiquiriachi is cited as the type locality, and 18 Sep 1846 the date of collection of the undated holotype, as well. J. Pruski, 2005]

[As "Gregg 162", presumably in J.M. Greenman's hand. I believe this is more likely Wislizenus 162 from Cosiquiriachi dated 18 Sep 1846 (rather than Gregg 162, Acalypha hederacea Torr. On 18 Sep 1846 (the date of collection in Mexico) Wislizenus appears to have been in Chihuahua, whereas I believe Gregg & Gen. Wool's Army had not yet left San Antonio. Gregg and Wool's Army appear to have crossed the Rio Grande into Mexico in Oct 1846. Thus, Gregg iis probably not the collector, and that the specimen is probably Wislizenus 162 (isotype). J. Pruski, 2013]
