Notes:
This species is characterized by its medium-sized, elliptic-oblong, shortly petiolate leaves that are rounded to truncate at the base, terminal paniculfiorm inflorescences, pedicellate flowers, short calyx limbs, and corollas with the lobes shorter than the tubes. Faramea cardiophylla is similar to Faramea truncata, Faramea platypoda, Faramea martiana, Faramea picinguabae, and some plants of Faramea stipulacea.
