Notes:

This species is characterized by ovate to elliptic-oblong, medium-sized leaves with apparently a rather thin texture, subsessile to pedicellate 4-merous flowers, greenish white corollas with the tube ca. 20 mm long, and medium-sized cylindrical fruits. It is not well documented, and was known to Anunciação (2004) only from the types of the three Ducke names. She synonymized these in this work under the name Fedinandusa nitida, but later recognized each of them as a separate speciees in the Brazil Catalogue. These names are provisionally synonymized here following her revisionary treatment because the only apparent difference among them is in leaf shape, and the range seen on Ducke's types is similar to that within some other well delimited species (e.g., Ferdinandusa hirsuta, Ferdinandusa panamensis).

Distribution: Wet forest at ca. 300 m in northeastern Brazil (Pará).
