, and is apparently polinated by hawkmoths. It is quite commonly collected. It is similar to
Hillia loranthoides
, and these may not be distinct however
Hillia loranthoides
is well marked morphologically, so this situation deserves more study before these are combined.
Distribution:
Wet lowland, premontane, and occasionally montane forests at 0-1350(-2650) m, in Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola, and southern Mexico (Oaxaca) through Nicaragua.
