Notes:
Rondeletia repens was based on two elements, a description of a Jamaican plant by Sloane and a plate from Rheede's Hortus Malabaricus from India. This name was lectotypified by Howard (1989), who noted the two very different elements and chose Sloane's description. This clarified the identity of the name, and also separated it from Psychotria herbacea Jacq., which was also based on the Rheede plate.
