Notes: This species is much more commonly collected than Pagameopsis garryoides. Steyermark separated several subspecies and varieties, but these were not recognized by Taylor et al. (2004).
Distribution: In wet scrub vegetation at 1500-2300 m on tepuis in southeastern Venezuela (Amazonas, Bolívar) and adjacent northern Brazil (Amazonas).
