E. hirtella Jorden ex Reuter is a distinct species in having very few branches and long hairs; while most of the other species recorded from our area have short hairs with the exception of E. pseudopaucifolia T. Siddiqui & Qaiser, E. incisa Pennell and E. aristulata Pennell, but none of them is related to E. hirtella Jorden ex Reuter.
