According to Jarvis of The Linnaean Plant Name Typification Project, 20 May 2011:"However, this is very unlikely to be original material for the name, and a Miller plate is cited by Linnaeus in the synonymy of P. campechiana, so the Houstoun material cannot be treated as a neotype."
