5. Iwatsukiella Buck & Crum 小柔齿藓属 xiao rou-chi xian shu
J. Hattori Bot. Lab. 44: 351. 1978.
This is a monotypic genus, consisting of Iwatsukiellaleucotricha (Mitt.) Buck & Crum. Originally, the genus was a member of Habrodon Schimp. However, Buck and Crum (1978) considered it to be an independent genus based on its numerous leaf alar cells, foliose pseudoparaphyllia, and double peristome teeth that are smooth below and papillose above. The generic description is the same as for the species.
