Notes:

Ecology: Lower Tucumano-Boliviano forest; on soil. Elevation: 1600-1700 m. Distribution: Argentina (Salta) and Uruguay. See Colotti et al. (2003).

Trematodon crispifolius, similar to T. longicollis, with the neck at least 2 times longer than the urn and perforated peristome, but in the former species the apices are obtuse, and peristome teeth undivided; and the latter species (T. longicollis)is distinguished by the apices acute, and divided peristome teeth.

Ecología: Bosque montano de Tucumano-Boliviano; sobre suelo. Distribución: Argentina (Salta) y Uruguay. Ver Colotti et al. (2003).
