1a. Drepanocladus aduncus var. aduncus   镰刀藓原变种   lian dao xian yuan bian zhong 

 
Plants slender, elongate, yellowish green. Stems prostrate, 10–20 cm long, irregularly branched or pinnately branched; in cross section cortical cells small, in 1–2 layers, thin- to thick-walled or enlarged; central strand weakly differentiated; pseudoparaphyllia few, small, foliose. Stem leaves polymorphous, ovate-lanceolate, 1–3 mm × 0.5–0.8 mm, often distinctly falcate-secund; margins involute, entire; costae single, slender or rather thick, reaching 1/2 the leaf length or longer; median leaf cells linear-flexuous, 20–55 μm × 5–6 μm; basal cells elongate-rhomboidal, shorter, broader than median cells, not or rarely porose; alar cells distinctly differentiated, yellowish or hyaline, auriculate, often extending close to costa at leaf base; branches leaves narrower, strongly falcate-secund. Dioicous. Setae ca. 25 mm long; capsules 2.0–2.5 mm long; annuli differentiated. Spores 16 mm in diameter, papillose.
