The status of this taxon is unknown. The protologue suggests Bolivia (Argentina. In Quebrada Honda Boliviana, 25 Majo 1873, Lorentz) even though it states Argentina, what ever the fact, this species is or will be likely found in the departments Potosí and Tarija.
