Locality: U.S.A. Alaska. Talkeetna Mts., Fern Mine Valley, N of Fairangel Creek, NNW of Palmer, 61°49'N, 149°14'W, 1000--1100 m. Inter Gymnomitrion apiculatum, Marsupella boeckei, Anthelia julacea, Lophozia cf. alpestris, on thin soil over boulders, moist boulder field.
