General/Distribution: About 30 species, chiefly central Asian; only 4 species recorded from our area.
Comment/Acknowledgements: Some taxonomists (Botsch. l.c.) now considerParrya R. Br. to be a monotypic genus (s. str.) and the rest of the species, formerly included under it, have been transferred to either Leiospora or Neuroloma. Furthermore, they assign it to the tribe Arabideae, while the latter two genera under the tribe Mattkioleae. The whole complex needs further investigations.
